Les Demoiselles de Rochefort: the iconic movie adapted onstage!

For the very first time, the musical The Young Girls Of Rochefort, emblematic of the french Nouvelle Vague, comes to life: live music, dancing, glitters… it is impossible to forget such a joyful show!

Even if you’ve never heard about the movie, it’s a must see. The story, easy to follow, depicts the different kinds of love, while following artists and sailors, for a funny and fresh result.

You want to keep dancing? In September, the Lido welcomes an adaptation of Singin’ in the Rain!

The Fantom of the Opera: the original story

After its triumph at the Théâtre Antoine, the production of The Phantom of the Opera is back this fall at the Théâtre du Gymnase in Paris.

Inspired by the iconic novel by Gaston Leroux, this french adaptation takes the form of a modern and enchanting musical. Original songs, captivating prose, a fresh look and a never-before-seen production.

A haunted opera, a masked phantom, an ingenue soprano, a love triangle... Combining mystery,  laughter, tears and suspense, come and discover this musical and its thrilling tunes. A daring  adaptation in a breathtaking setting.

La Comédie-Française: more than 300 years of (hi)stories

La Comédie-Française is THE historical theatre in Paris. Founded in 1680, you might know it as the “House of Molière”, named after the famous playwright. Every year, the Comédie Française and its company members offers a rich and diverse program. You will find the great classics, sometimes given new takes. Despite being an old lady, it welcomes well known directors but also promotes young ones!

Les Misérables - Châtelet

In November, the Théâtre du Châtelet welcomes back this successful production of Les Misérables! Is there any experience more French then this one?

This production’s goal was to serve ever more faithfully Victor Hugo’s masterpiece. Alain Boublil revised, adapted, and reshaped the libretto, while Claude-Michel Schönberg reworked the score. The music, the text, the dancing, the costumes… All the elements of the greatest shows are gathered!
